Bromelain

Bromelain is a proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzyme derived from the pineapple plant.* It is functional throughout a wide pH range and does not lose its activity as it goes through the acidic environment of the stomach.* Scientific studies indicate that Bromelain is highly bioavailable and may help to alleviate normal transient pain and discomfort associated with occasional overuse.* This product has 500 mg of natural Bromelain per capsule and is suitable for vegetarians.

Bromelain may interact with anticoagulants and other blood thinning medications, as well as with certain antibiotics, including tetracycline and amoxicillin.

Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, with or between meals, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
